Reverse Osmosis systems work by rejecting contaminated water molecules to drain, whilst allowing pure water to pass on to your tap.
Our high quality 5-stage pumped Reverse Osmosis system consists of 3 Pre-Filters to reduce the amount of water rejected, an industry standard 50gpd RO Membrane & Carbon Block Polishing Filter to put the sparkle back into your water.
Having an integral Pump & Pressure Actuated Valve, our RO is suitable for most domestic situations, even where mains water pressure is less than ideal. Being pumped also helps to reduce the amount of waste water generated as the RO Membrane is able to work at a constant pressure.
The kit comes complete with all the components you will need to install it:
5-Stage Pumped Reverse Osmosis System (comprising :)
1x 10" Sediment Pre-Filter
2x 10" Carbon Pre-Filter
1x 50gpd RO Membrane
1x Carbon Polishing Filter
4 US Gallon Pressurised Storage Vessel
Chromium Plated Faucet
Self Piercing Saddle Valve (for connection to mains supply)
Drain Saddle
All necessary ¼” LDPE Hoses
Installation Instructions
For typical installations, you can expect your RO to reduce the level of contaminants in your water by the following percentages:
Aluminium 98.5 Magnesium 98.2
Ammonium 92.2 Mercury 97.9
Bacteria 99.9+ Nickel 94 - 98
Barium 98.3 Nitrate 78.4
Cadmium 99.8 Phosphate 98.1
Calcium 97.3 Sodium 94.4
Chlorine 95 Sulphate 98.7
Chloride 93.5 Zinc 97.8
ChromiumVI 97.9 Particulate 99.9
ChromiumIII 99.8 Herbicides 99
Copper 97.8 Pesticides 99
Cyanide 91.7 Lindane 98
Fluoride 93.7 Benzine 9
Iron 97.8 Altrazine 96
Lead 99.6 Algae 99.9
As with all filter systems, the filters in your RO will need changing periodically.
Pre-Filters replace every year *
RO Membrane & Polishing Filter replace every 2 years *
* Life expectancy of filters is for guidance only, based on average domestic use processing potable soft water. Water quality varies & therefore so can the lifespan of filters/membranes. RO membrane lifespan can be expected to be reduced by 50% if connected to a hard water supply.
