Installation GuideSaddle Valve 1: Ensure that the penetrator is fully retracted by turning handle anti-clockwise before attaching to pipe. 2: Position saddle valve over straight section of 10mm or 15mm copper pipe. 3: Insert shim between pipe & screw clamp. 4: Tighten screw clamp (do not over tighten). 5: Screw down T-bar handle clockwise. The saddle valve will now have pierced a hole in the copper pipe. DO NOT unscrew T-bar handle until the filter is connected. Faucet 1: Before drilling a hole for the faucet, ensure that there is unobstructed access underneath the sink / worktop for attachment of the retaining washer & nut. 2: Using the large black rubber seal as a guide, mark the position you wish to install the faucet. 3: Drill a 12.5mm hole through the sink / worktop (you may wish to drill a pilot hole first if drilling through stainless steel). 4: Slide onto the threaded tail of the faucet in this order: small rubber seal, chrome collar & large rubber seal. 5: From above, insert blue hose into the hole which you have drilled & slide threaded tail through hole until the faucet sits flush on the sink / worktop. 6: From beneath, slide onto the blue hose & up the threaded tail in this order: large washer, small locking washer & nut. 7: Tighten nut onto threaded tail until the faucet is fixed securely. Doulton Filter 1: Unscrew lower part of filter housing (white) from the top (grey). 2: Screw filter cartridge into top part of housing. 3: Screw lower housing back into the top. 4: Attach the bracket to the top of the housing using the larger screws supplied. 5: Attach the bracket to a suitable vertical surface (eg side of cupboard) using the smaller screws supplied. 6: Firmly push red hose from saddle valve into the inlet fitting on the filter housing. 7: Using the stem reducer, firmly push the blue hose from the faucet into the outlet fitting on the filter housing. 8: Open the faucet by lifting the lever handle all the way up. 9: Open the saddle valve by turning the T-bar handle fully anti-clockwise. 10: Allow the filter to run for 5 minutes before drinking from it. ACFF Hi-Flo Filter & Pentek QC-10 1: Using screws (not supplied), attach the bracket to a suitable vertical surface (eg side of cupboard). 2: Firmly push red hose from saddle valve into the inlet fitting on the filter housing. 3: Using the stem reducer, firmly push the blue hose from the faucet into the outlet fitting on the filter housing. 4: Insert filter cartridge into bracket & turn 90 degrees to tighten. 5: Open the faucet by lifting the lever handle all the way up. 6: Open the saddle valve by turning the T-bar handle fully anti-clockwise. 7: Allow the filter to run for 5 minutes before drinking from it. Silverline UC40HR Filter 1: Firmly push red hose from saddle valve into the inlet fitting on the pressure control valve (PCV). 2: Firmly push hose attached to PCV into the inlet (lower) fitting on the filter. 3: Firmly push the blue hose from the faucet into the outlet (top) fitting on the filter. 4: Open the faucet by lifting the lever handle all the way up. 5: Open the saddle valve by turning the T-bar handle fully anti-clockwise. 6: Allow the filter to run for 5 minutes before drinking from it. Congratulations, your drinking water filter is now fully installed & ready to use. |
